Our name is inspired by Matthew 5:13–16, where Jesus calls His followers the salt of the earth and light of the world. At Sunday Salt Press, we’re all about living salty—adding flavor, truth, and love to the world around us through bold faith and everyday worship. We believe you can live loud for Christ through what you say, how you serve, and even what you wear.

MEET OUR FOUNDER, DANIELLE

I am a wife to an incredibly supportive husband, mother of two, and a fur-mom to five (two dogs and three cats),.

My faith journey began when I was 20 years old. I was on a flight back to Houston, TX, where I was briefly living, when everything changed. During a visit home to Florida, my sister gave me a book that completely transformed my view of Jesus and God. That moment sparked a deep curiosity in me—I longed to hear the Word of God and find a church where I truly belonged. Though I wasn’t a regular churchgoer, I began studying the Bible on my own, drawn to books that challenged me to think, study, and grow.

At 27, I took a significant step in my faith and was baptized on Easter morning in the Tampa Bay alongside my mom and cousin. Over time, my faith became lukewarm—I would listen to sermons and attend church occasionally but never fully committed. Like many searching for meaning, I even dabbled in New Age practices, exploring oracle cards and crystals in 2020. But by 2021, I felt an undeniable pull back to the truth. I picked up my Bible with fresh eyes, and as I immersed myself in God’s Word, I naturally distanced myself from anything that didn’t align with Him. I threw away the crystals and cards and turned fully to prayer and Scripture.

In 2024, I made another life-changing decision—I sold my herbal business and set out on a new journey: reading the entire Bible, cover to cover. What an enlightening experience that was! But I soon realized that I gained a much deeper understanding through study groups, biblical podcasts, and my pastor’s teachings that broke down the details of each book in the Bible.

Then, one Sunday morning as I sat in church, I suddenly felt an overwhelming conviction—one that could only come from the Holy Spirit. I was compelled to create a book that would not only guide people through the Bible but also help them understand it in a deeper, more meaningful way. I wanted others to experience the same clarity and connection with God’s Word that I had found. And so, this journey began. I’m beyond grateful that you’re here with me, and I pray this book helps you grow in faith and understanding just as it has for me. May it bring you closer to God and His truth.
